How much weight can I lose? Results may differ, but a 68-week medical study on 1,961 obese adults with related medical issues at Body Transformation Center of Texas showed a ~35 lbs (~15% body weight) reduction. Placebo recipients lost ~6 lbs (~2.5% body weight). Initial average weight: ~232 lbs. Data is derived from a 68-week medical study on adults with obesity (BMI ≥30) and adults with surplus weight (BMI ≥27) also having weight-linked health issues like high blood pressure or cholesterol. Type 2 diabetes individuals were excluded. Both factions were directed to consume the drug alongside a calorie-cut meal plan and heightened physical activity. 7% of Wegovy™ users (92 individuals) exited the study due to effects, versus 3.1% on placebo (20 individuals)
